Horizontal pumps

HORIZONTAL CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

HORIZONTAL CHEMICAL PUMPS

Horizontal close coupled pumps for under-floor installation. Made of corrosion-resistant plastic, they have no metal parts in direct contact with the pumped liquids. Equipped with an acid-resistant mechanical seal of exclusive Savino Barbera design (the product of many years of experience in the chemical sector). They are chemical pumps designed for pumping aggressive liquids and industrial fluids, even heavily loaded, contained in process tanks, storage tanks or tankers. Ease of use and carefully designed components give these acid-proof centrifugal pumps a high degree of functionality and resistance.

  • Acid-proof plastic materials: PP, PVC, PVDF.
  • Anti-corrosion mechanical seal suitable for chemical applications.
  • Options: trolley, double mechanical seal, support bases.

OMA CHEMICAL PUMPS

OMA Series chemical pumps. Monobloc plastic pumps with a compact design, compatible with many corrosive products present in industrial processes and chemical plants. Max flow rate 90 m³ / h. Max head 55 m wc

OP CHEMICAL PUMPS

OP Series chemical pumps. Made from solid polypropylene blocks and equipped with motors with reinforced bearings: they are very robust chemical pumps ideal for heavy work and continuous operation. Max flow rate 200 m³ / h. Max head 42 m wc

PA CHEMICAL PUMPS

PA Series chemical pumps. Self-priming pumps with negative suction (maximum negative head: 4 m). Not suitable for dense, viscous, hot and high vapour pressure liquids. Max flow rate 280 l / min. Max head 15 m wc

ANTI-CORROSION PLASTIC MATERIALS

PP (POLYPROPYLENE)

Very versatile thermoplastic polymer, ideal for making antacid centrifugal pumps. It has good resistance to most alkaline and acid solutions and can be used, depending on the concentration of aggressive liquids, up to 80 ° C.

PVC (POLYVINYL CHLORIDE)

Plastic material with excellent resistance to acids, bases, saline solutions and organic compounds: usually PVC is used for pumping sodium hypochlorite (NaClO). At low temperatures, it becomes brittle. Operating temperature between 40 and 60 ° C.

PVDF (POLYVINYLENFLOURIDE)

Fluorinated thermoplastic with exceptional resistance to corrosion and temperature. PVDF is ideal for highly concentrated acids while it is not suitable for some inorganic bases such as caustic soda (sodium hydroxide). Operating temperature: max 100°C.
