Industrial agitators

ALL TYPES OF INDUSTRIAL AGITATOR

INDUSTRIAL AGITATORS

Vertical agitators with direct drive (fast agitation) or coupled to geared motors (slow agitation). Made of corrosion-resistant plastic and metal, Savino Barbera agitators are suitable for the traditional needs of industrial mixing. Their extremely versatile modular design, however, also allows them to be used for more irregular situations. Savino Barbera agitators offer rotation speeds from 50 to 2800 rpm depending on the service required (slow mixing, moderate mixing, fast mixing). They are equipped with marine impellers, axial turbines with inclined blades, closable metal impellers, high efficiency impellers. Maximum length of 3500 mm.

General characteristics

  • Acid-resistant plastic materials: PP, PVC, PVDF.
  • Metal version: stainless steel (AISI 316).
  • With 4, 6 and 8 pole motors.
  • Liquid-liquid and liquid-solid mixtures.
  • Retention of suspended solids.
  • Achieving particular temperatures.
  • Homogenisation of acid solutions.
  • Recirculation to avoid stratification.
  • Custom lengths of up to 3500 mm, depending on model.

AN FAST AGITATORS

Fast stirrers with cantilever shaft connected directly to the motor. Without supports or bushes, they meet the need for simplicity and manageability. Construction lengths up to 1500 mm. Equipped with three-blade or four-blade marine propellers.

AR LENS AGITATORS

Agitators with cantilever shaft connected to the gearmotor by means of a coupling. Without guide bushings, they are fitted with three-blade marine impellers. They develop a slow rotation ideal for mild liquid mixing. Maximum length 3500 mm.

AL AGITATORS WITH LAMP

Fixed vertical agitators with cantilever shaft and reinforced bearings for heavy use. The coupling to the motor is made with an aluminium lantern and joint. Maximum length: 1750 mm. Fast rotation. Marine propeller impellers.

AG AGITATORS WITH BUSHES

Industrial agitators with drive shaft. Maximum length: 3000 mm. The shaft of the AG mixers is mounted inside a sheath and is supported by bushings near its end. Fast rotation. Marine propeller impeller.

AP PUMPING AGITATORS

Thrust agitators (or axial pumps) with ducted propeller. For decentralised assembly in the tank, they ensure a powerful movement of the liquid and continuous and homogeneous circulation. Maximum length: 2000 mm.

AF CLOSEABLE AGITATORS

Reduced agitators with folding paddle impellers. Can be fitted with multiple impellers (up to 3). Ideal for IBC containers and tanks. Maximum length: 2000 mm. Material: stainless steel (AISI316). Slow rotation.

Agitators suitable for industrial containers with small diameter opening. Version with direct coupling for fast rotation (AN30) or version with gearbox for slow rotation (AF50). Marine propeller impellers, axial turbines or recloseable impellers.

MIXING UNIT

Corrosion-resistant mixing units consisting of AN or AR series agitators and tanks of various capacities. Maximum length: 1350 mm. Max volume: 1040 liters. Optional accessories: metal frames, valves, containment tanks.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS (PLASTIC AND METAL)

PP (POLYPROPYLENE)

Very versatile thermoplastic polymer, ideal for making antacid centrifugal pumps. It has good resistance to most alkaline and acid solutions and can be used, depending on the concentration of aggressive liquids, up to 80 ° C.

PVC (POLYVINYL CHLORIDE)

Plastic material with excellent resistance to acids, bases, saline solutions and organic compounds: usually PVC is used for pumping sodium hypochlorite (NaClO). At low temperatures, it becomes brittle. Its operating temperature is between 40 and 60 ° C.

PVDF (POLYVINYLENFLOURIDE)

Fluorinated thermoplastic with exceptional resistance to corrosion and temperature. PVDF is ideal for highly concentrated acids while it is not suitable for some inorganic bases such as caustic soda (sodium hydroxide). Operating temperature: 100 ° C max.

STAINLESS STEEL (AISI 316)

Savino Barbera agitators are also available in stainless steel (AISI 316). In this version, they can mix non-aggressive industrial liquids such as: fertilizers, hardening baths, waste water and graphite suspensions. Maximum operating temperature: about 100 ° C.
